Limited Partnership (LP) Kit & Seal

A Limited Partnership (LP) Kit is a binder containing essential items for the routine maintenance and administration of an LP.  Although meeting and maintenance requirements aren't as formal for LPs as for corporations, it is strongly recommended that an operating agreement be adopted, regular meetings of the partners held and good company records be kept. BizFilings' LP Kit and Seal maintains and preserves your company records all in one binder.

Our LP Kit includes:

  • A professional binder enclosed in a matching slip-case and customized with your LP's name on the spine
  • A custom partnership seal
  • 20 custom-made, numbered, partnership certificates printed with your LP’s name
  • A partnership interest transfer ledger to keep accurate records of issuance of partnership interest
  • A sample operating agreement
  • Special partnership index tabs

A partnership seal is a device made to either emboss or imprint certain partnership information onto documents. BizFilings' Partnership Seal is a pocket-seal customized with your company name and the state and date of formation. The seals are made of heavy-duty metal and are enclosed in a protective case.

Pricing
BizFilings' LP Kit and Seal is included with BizFilings' Complete and Standard LP Formation packages, and can be added to BizFilings' Basic LP Formation service or ordered as a stand-alone item for $99.

LLCs typically do not pay taxes at the business level. Any business income or loss is "passed-through" to the owners and reported on the owners' personal income tax returns. Any tax due is then paid at the individual level.
